Why JCAC

A new approach to Jewish community advocacy

Discover why JCAC is different — a new Jewish community organization that listens to its members and takes stronger positions in favor of Jews and Israel.

1

Stronger Advocacy on Behalf of the Jewish People

JCAC advocates unapologetically for Jews and for Israel. We speak plainly about antisemitism, about anti-Zionism as antisemitism, and about the responsibilities public institutions have to their Jewish students, employees, and community members — without hedging to please political allies.

2

An Organization That Listens to Its Members

JCAC continuously gathers input from members on the issues that matter most. Our positions evolve with the community rather than being dictated by leadership or major donors.

3

Antisemitism Case Work and Litigation

We take on individual antisemitism cases — from harassment of Jewish students to hostile work environments — and pursue them through demand letters, OCR complaints, and federal civil-rights litigation. Where legacy groups stop at referrals, JCAC files.

4

Curriculum Transparency and Litigation

Antisemitic and anti-Zionist bias in K–12 curriculum — especially in Ethnic Studies — thrives when districts keep classroom materials hidden from parents. JCAC pushes for full curriculum transparency and, when districts refuse, uses litigation to force disclosure and accountability.

5

A Big Tent for All Pro-Israel Jews

The Jewish community is not monolithic. JCAC makes room for the observant, the secular, the liberal, the conservative, the Zionist, the immigrant, and the descendants of every diaspora — anyone committed to defending Jewish civil rights.

6

Focusing on Issues that Unite Us, Not Partisan Issues that Divide

JCAC concentrates on the civil-rights fights that unite Jews across the political spectrum: fighting antisemitism, defending Israel's right to exist and defend itself, and protecting Jewish families in public institutions. We stay out of unrelated partisan fights that would fracture the coalition.
