Mission Goal 1
Take Stronger Positions in Favor of Jews and Israel
JCAC exists because the Jewish community needs advocacy that is willing to speak plainly. Too often, legacy organizations soften their language to preserve political relationships, and the result is a defense of Jewish civil rights that never quite lands.
We take stronger positions on behalf of Jews and on behalf of Israel. We name antisemitism when we see it — including its modern antizionist form — and we hold public institutions to the same civil-rights standards they apply to every other protected community.
That means unambiguous support for Israel's right to exist, defend itself, and be treated as an equal member of the community of nations. It means calling out double standards in schools, universities, and public agencies. And it means refusing to trade the safety of Jewish students, employees, and families for a seat at someone else's table.
Stronger positions are not louder positions for their own sake. They are positions grounded in law, in fact, and in the lived experience of the Jewish community — expressed without hedging.
